Enmore used to be the home of the famous Enmore two-column wooden still. Now housed at the Diamond Distillery, this is the world’s only surviving wooden column still and also the oldest operating Coffey still. The Enmore sugar estate goes back to the early 19th century and was founded by Edward Henry Porter. After decades of producing some very fine rums, Enmore closed in 1993 and now it’s up to independent bottlers like the Polish company Wealth Solutions to bring us the good stuff. This bottling company was created in 2021 and this rum is from their ‘The Colours of Rum’ series. The colours of The Colours of Rum bottles are inspired by the flag of the country that the rum is from, which makes for a bright collection of rums! Enmore 33 Years Old The Colours Of Rum Edition 2 1988 is a continentally aged rum, distilled in a single wooden pot still in 1988 and aged for 33 years in an ex-rum cask. Inside the bottle you’ll find flavours of exotic fruits like mango and banana as well as baked apples. This single cask bottling only yielded 185 bottles so this is some very rare and exclusive rum which won’t be around for long.
