The Quai D’Orsay No.50 is a Petit Robusto, measuring 110mm in length with a 50 ring gauge.

In 2017 Habanos initiated a reinvention of the Quai D’Orsay brand by launching two new vitolas, the No. 50 & No. 54, with updated packaging and redesigned branded bands in an attempt to appeal to the current market favouring cigars thicker in size.

The No. 50 is wrapped in a smooth colorado wrapper, emitting a sweet herbal aroma mixed with warm baking spices, while the cold draw offers a hint of vanilla and citrus. Once lit flavours of cedar mixed with floral notes come through with a creamy undertone, and the strength and body both hover around the mild medium mark.

In the second third notes of hazelnut and bread roll in, and the notes of citrus and vanilla reintroduce themselves as flavours and a distinct sweetness brings them all together beautifully. The strength never passes the medium mark, making this an excellent cigar for all experience levels. You can expect to enjoy this cigar for around 60 minutes.
