What does a home mean without guests? Nothing!
Teddy's Speakeasy team knows that very well. That's why we became happy when Stash Kaiholomālie Vadrna- Ambassador of Ichi-go Ichi-e & Nikka Brand Global Hospitality Advocate, said Yes to our invitation sent from our Rastislav Kasar - World Coffee in Good Spirits Champion 2023 & Director of Product Development at G2D - for a unique Guest shift at Teddy's Speakeasy and a hospitality workshop for our team to join.
Out of 172 Teddy's fans who wanted to be part of the most unconventional shift ever as guests, eight were lucky to attend.
Stash is an almost ascetic figure, calm and full of radiance that comes from his love for what he does, specially what he constantly wants to give.
He came to Greece with an open heart and open mind, as he usually does in every country he goes to. He brought us the best presents that we will all keep in our hearts forever: his philosophy, knowledge, and great experience!
The unconventional guest shift took place on Tuesday, April 2nd, at Teddy's Speakeasy, where the eight guests had the chance to enjoy a progressive pairing of tastes prepared by our Executive Chef Thanos Vlahopoulos with Stash's 4 one-of-a-kind cocktails with Nikka whiskies Rhapsody in you, Midnight Sax, Hokkaido Fashioned, Bebop Beet, and 4 Vintage cocktails Vintage Daiquiri, Vintage Negroni, Vintage Bees Knees, Vintage Manhattan made with vintage Havana Club rum, Campari, Booths Gin, Antica Formula Vermouth.
It was not only the cocktails Stash prepared but the way he served them to the guests. It is his philosophy of MUHINSU, which means NO GUEST, NO HOST, and the Ichi-go Ichi-e mindset. Live for the moment, knowing it is once in a lifetime, Stash said, and everybody was under his spell for more than three hours!
It was an unconventional team bonding day like no other!
Bartending for Teddy's Speakeasy team was always different and unique, but after Stash's workshop, it will be incomparable!
